Join us aboard the beautiful MS Royal Crown in the magical city of Frankfurt as we start our adventure from the Main river.  Our first stop is Mainz a stunning red stone city strategically placed at the confluence of the Main & Rhine rivers.  With over 2000 years of history Germany’s wine capital will not disappoint. Gorgeous Rudesheim is our next stop where the wines are not only top quality but the Asbach brandy too!  Enjoy the winding cobbled streets of this picturesque gem and why not take the cable car up through the vineyards or visit the unique Siegfried’s music museum? After Rudesheim we sail the UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Gorge with its countless castles and fascinating history.  Charming Koblenz is our next port of call at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers.  This amazing city has numerous churches and museums to visit or why not take the cable car across the Rhine up to the Ehrenbreitstein fortress and the city museum? We then sail the winding romantic Moselle past some of the steepest vineyards in the world to Cochem.  A stunning wine town overlooked by the mighty Reichsburg castle.  We sail back to the Rhine and have a brief stop in medieval Andernach before we reach Remagen with its museum dedicated to peace telling the story of WWII and the last bridge spanning the mighty river.  Not far downstream is the beautiful resort of Konigswinter with a chance to hike visit castles or take a ride on Germany’s oldest cog railway. Bonn once Germany’s capital and the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven will not disappoint with its old town square and countless museums.  Roman Cologne is the next port and a must see.  Its skyline is dominated by the magnificent cathedral and is home to the Lindt chocolate museum and one of the longest shopping streets in Germany.  Our final destination is the bustling metropolis of Dusseldorf where we part with many amazing memories on board the MS Royal Crown
